The official Pakistani Thread for the class of 2013

^ Not exactly. Have to cover personal expenses/books/activities fees and God know what not. They are only covering tuition and room & board.

No, I didn’t.
Btw, I don’t mean to be abrasive but I think you’re wrong about ND. Here’s what their website says:“Campus Ministry facilitates many activities for all students and works to ensure that the atmosphere at Notre Dame is supportive and welcoming to all. Included in this mission is the task of making sure that students who are not Catholic can find masses or services in the South Bend community and also transportation to their respective churches, temples, synagogues, or mosques.”

I still don’t think I’ll get in but not because I’m non-catholic

And I do know a fair amount of people (not least here on CC) whose entire futures could on the line. Or something far worse, if you know what I mean.

Not being Catholic might be a -ve. I certainly know it is with St. Olaf, Wheaton, etc.

@theGame
I might apply next year as a freshman. I’ll get in for sure because I will have the power of the CC Pakistani thread behind me!!

Hahaa…but you’ll surely get into LUMS with a 2200 and might get a bit cozy with a few ppl there :)

Yeah, LUMS isn’t bad at all.
I like getting cozy. Getting cozy is what I like.

Your English I liked. I liked your English.
;)

Its the first time I’ve read anything like this! Anything like this I’ve read for the first time. :D

But I really think we should quit it! Anyway, how many people are considering Gap-year?

Wow, 3 pages in so less time…nice!
Okay, I have one. Which Oxford College did Liaquat Ali Khan graduate from (tough one right?) :)

Sorry I wasn’t here for the Obama one…I just remembered Columbia tho!

christchurch? its the biggest…what did he study that might help

noticed that while ive been away, our nepalese neighbors have been having some problems. The world is a strange place when the nepalese have two threads and pakistanis are content with just one.

Hey Karpov!
Yup our Nepali neighbors have been having many problems…and personally, the fault lies with both the ‘parties’
Remember, we are the ‘aware’ Pakistanis :)

Oh, its not that simple Karpov…and I have taken the liberty to remove it from L.A.Khan’s Wikipedia page :D

Worth noting: Pakistan wasn’t formed as of the time when Liaquat Ali Khan applied to Oxford, which is the reason, i guess, why LAK’s taste for the ‘big’ was so premature :)

what was his major …sometimeas tht can help
si is removing it from wiki a sign tht we are allowed to search the net for the answer

merton if his major was philosophy…

Nope, we aren’t allowed to search, i guess
Honestly, I don’t know what major, all I know is that it was a Masters degree, and that it wasn’t Merton :D

Oh and anyone suffering from a bad case of decision-tension, I recommend he watches all the seasons of 24! I tell you, its the best stress killer there is!

ok well i can only guess then lets hope someone else is better informed
trinity?

No, and okay, i don’t decide, you can look the internet up :D

well then its a race!
