<p>@theGame: They can’t compel you, just find out which ones u need and buy those from wherever u want. The visa is easy to get if you can speak english fluently and you get it earlier if you’ve been to the states before. My brother got it within 2 weeks while some of his friends got it a week before the start of school. It also depends on the visa officer you get unfortunately some are just too cruel and make you beg for the visa :(</p>

<p>you can only apply once you get the I-20 Form, and when you have time. unforunately the I-20 usually comes during A Levels so people usually apply for the visa during the summer after the a levels. I’ve never heard of a rule like that. I just got my visa renewed and now they have a certain clearance # which wasn’t there when i last got my visa. They really are changing their visa things especially for males and males over 16 have to have a clearance check when we enter and leave the US. Takes ~2 hours depending on the rush and which airport you go to. My advice would be to not go to a very busy airport for clearance like JFK.</p>
