<p>The 4 Ivies that I applied to, along with Stanford. I applied to Princeton, Columbia, Cornell and UPenn. What really surprised me was that by far I’m the ONLY applicant who has actually applied to the Ivies from my school.
The best places my school’s graduates have reached are MIT (school’s superintendent’s daughter) and UCLA (a domestic student).</p>

<p>and I so wanted to apply to the UC’s… but by the time I started this whole application process ( last week of dec 
) … the deadline for the UC’s was already gone!</p>
<p>Since I’m on a gap year, I had planned during the summer on as to how to approach the application process this time. I was hoping that I’ll hopefully send in all my applications in November itself. But after actually reaching that phase, there was always some sort of delay either of getting the documents or filling the part of application to the extent I had to send all my apps some 11 days before the New Year.</p>
<p>that is still great … I sent most of my apps like a few hours before the deadline :P</p>
<p>Although, UCSD has posted its decisions on the applicants’ accounts (got their email), I can’t access my application as it says “function available”… guess I’ll have to wait till 6 or 7 and then reopen my application…</p>
