Alright you insomniacs…I’m heading to bed. Good luck on midterms/other school-related business tomorrow, guys. Peace.

Omg emil is going to bed FIRST

The only UC I applied to was Berkeley cause they are the only one who has a social welfare program.
If I don’t get in I’m going to Humboldt State which I honestly will love. I’m anxious for April 30 but if I’m rejected I know I will still be extremely happy.

Also another reason I have always been apprehensive about talking to guys at my cc is because I never know how old anyone is. I don’t want to embarass myself by chatting up some cute guy who turns out to be barely 18. (I’m almost 22)

I’m almost tempted to submit my SIR at schools I don’t want to attend so I can be over with it. The unknown is killing me. There’s absolutely nothing we can do to speed up the process.

well good for you. mind if i ask (im not familiar with humboldt) what do you like so much about Humboldt state?

@Victoria I got friendly (that’s not a euphemism) with a female stoner that loved Humbolt to an extent that I couldn’t understand.

And what’s wrong with dating a younger guy. I always hated that stigma, as I consider myself mature enough to date a girl at least a little older.

^^agreed. stupid stigma really.

perhaps a stupid stigma but women are mor eattracted to older men for obvious reasons

THE OBVIOUS REASONS BEING?!??! (You’re suppose to be on our side, remember.)

though i must admit i enjoy older women (ive just turned 22) and really cant stand most girls younger than me.

a recent study frm yahoo news claims that “lasting relationshiops” are more common when the woman is
a) younger than the guy
b) smarter than the guy

@empathy the reasons are probably:
- older men seem more established
- older men are more mature
- generally smarter and more manly
- confidence
- etc

I’m not completely opposed to it by any means but in general the guys in the central valley especially at my JC are quite immature. I in fact was into a 19 yr old recently.
It just goes back to the old mentality that girls mature faster than guys. Plus from my experience majority of the guys in the 19-22 age range aren’t looking for anything serious…

I don’t know, I’m pretty manly.

what reasons. i wanna see conclusions backed by fact, and replicable via the scientific method

sugar daddies are much more common than sugar mommas

Consider me in the minority then, I’m a pathological monogamist and to such an extent that I have passed on many potential “man-stories.”

Mmmm manly men. Actually you hit most of my biggest “turn ons” masculinity and confidence.
The being smarter than the man made me smile a lot. I generally go for un educated fun guys. I think it gives me somewhat of power trip in a sense. I like the man to be dominant and agressive yet I like to feel more intelligent.
The last guy I was seeing would joke about getting a dictionary to carry around when we hung out, and trust me my vocabulary is not all that large.

Ya it happens. I mean heck I was in the minority on the opposite end of the spectrum for quite some time. The girl who doesn’t treat her bfs all that great. Than for years just “isn’t looking for anything serious right now”.
sigh
now I just can’t seem to find anyone who “fits”

I just want a pretty girl who’s intellectually stimulating and my parents will like her. Easier said than found
