<p>@ Victoria: If only I had the same safety luxury. I’ve fallen into the seductive trap of Berkeley. i.e. viewing it as the penultimate school - the one where I was meant to go - the only school I can see myself at. lol I used to love Davis, but after visiting UCB a couple of times, I’ve just lost my love for the other schools :/. That’s great that you love your safety though! Have you been accepted there yet?</p>

<p>I’m not drunk but I’ve been drinking. I went to a brewery for dinner and got talked into a $10 craft beer at BevMo by a guy that consistently hits on my girlfriend.</p>

<p>Emil is the man, by the way! Just wanted to give him a shout out! He told me all about his experience at Berkeley, and it complicated my “which school is best for me” ****uation. I was down to either UCLA or UCSD, but now Berkeley is back in the running!</p>
<p>I’m a year and a half transfer… Started last spring and didn’t want to be stuck because of the cutting of spring admissions so just took tons of classes…
And my safety is humboldt state and ya I got accepted like back in November or something lol.</p>

<p>@7. Oh I used mine my first semester at my jc. They just wrote me checks for it and I used 4,000$ to put down on my car :)</p>

<p>@emil thanks! my primary major is actually econ whose curriculum at berkeley seems to lend itself towards double majoring so i figured i might as well lol, and being a 1-yr transfer really wasn’t the same thing for me compared to everyone else who really had to work hard since i started with over 45 ap units…>_></p>

<p>@Victoria, my uncle teaches at HSU! Also, how the hell did AmeriCorps let you receive checks!? When I was in City Year, they said “this is ONLY for educational purposes” and that you couldn’t redeem it for cash!</p>

Why is it that girls always doodle in class (looks up quizzically lol)? haha if only I were a football player…in fact, quite the opposite, I’m planning on possibly trying out for crew.
