<p>I’m SERIOUSLY debating SD and LA. I need to make a visit to Berkeley (if I get accepted) to consider it, too. But I’ve lived in both places (sd, la) and love 'em both. I gotta say though… SD is so much more chill. People in LA are so uptight. :</p>

while i was thinking why is that i havent heard from any schools so far, I suspect that it could be the math class that brings me problem…
i took college algebra to fulfill my math requirement, and it’s good enough for my major…however, I took some other higher math class overseas, before I came to CC, I took a stat class, but i Failed it.
would that actually matter? like I know UCs don’t like ppl taking easier classes, and since I took some higher math elsewhere, i shouldn’t have taken college algebra here?</p>

<p>Cons of SoCal: too hot (temperature-wise), bad traffic, close-minded superficial people, typically socially conservative, doesn’t house the Silicon Valley, fewer high-skilled jobs in general</p>
