<p>all of my classes involve some form of equation. haha yeah id say its 22 units of all rigorous courses. On a sidenote: UCLA MYFAO CHANGED!!!

<p>Hey do you think that the amount of units taken in one term is considered by the people who make the admissions decisions? I took 26 in Fall 2009 and got 7 A’s and 1 B. I was wondering if this would matter at all??? PS, its LATE.</p>

<p>@ BayAreaTransfer: 26! That’s amazing. Yeah, it definitely can’t hurt. It should be factored into your grade trend.</p>
<p>For example, my units by semester went something like:</p>
<p>1) 0 (failed everything) Thank god for AR.
2) 9 (2 B’s and an A)
3) 9 (1 B and 2 A’s)
4) 10 (1 B and 2 A’s) summer term
5) 18 (6 A’s) fall 09</p>
<p>In my example, I demonstrated that I can handle more than just a few units (9-10) per semester and also perform well. Considering that you got 7 A’s and 1 B, I would imagine that would show the same thing - especially if you took fewer units before and with slightly poorer grades.</p>

<p>I have a 5-page Psych outline due in about 7 hours, so I figured it would only be tradition for me to come on about now.</p>

<p>Well I got into UCSC, but still waiting on SD…which has made me antsy lol. I’m also waiting for UCB and UCLA, but I know those won’t be for another 4-5 weeks.</p>
<p>I had midterms all last week like back-to-back-to-back-to-back lol. It was extreme, but I’m glad it’s over. Well actually I have 1 more huge one on Saturday (Ughhh online classes) but that’ll be it.</p>
<p>My spring break date begins at the beginning of April, so while my friends are all back from college, I’m pent up alot of time at school/doing hw. lol I feel like my spring break is the latest there is.</p>
<p>I’m also losing steam; just trying to trudge through and do well. My classes are all really boring though, so it’s hard to stay motivated. lol my fortunately this is my last semester and I have a UC to look forward to…otherwise who knows what my work ethic would be like this semester.</p>
<p>ive lost all my steam. the only thing keeping me afloat in chem is my study group. i also have grade buffering in physics, math, and eng sciences(over hundred percents in all of them). programming is fun but getting tedious. i am seriously considering just not trying anymore till finals week and salvage my grades. hahah</p>
<p>I’ve got grade security! my physics professor is a UCSD alum and is ELATED that I’ve been accepted! Woohoo!</p>
<p>Lucky! I’ve got no grade security, but it doesn’t matter. None of the classes I’m taking now are needed for my major :)</p>
<p>I’ll get at least a B in all of them for sure…i just don’t care, that’s the problem :P</p>

<p>Hey all, I’m feeling the same way you are! There are only 36 days left until Cal responds to our application and just 30 until LA does. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I am only taking 3 courses this semester at 3 units a pop so unlike the rest of you, I am having a pretty smooth ride this last semester. I have just a 3.45/4 ish and have applied to Cal and LA like everyone else. I am from the Central Valley and have heard of the ‘Valley Bump,’ also I had an admissions counselor from Cal look at my essays and tell me not to change anything :). MAN I AM NERVOUS!!
P.S. sorry about the poor grammar, I was on kind of a rant!</p>
