And not neccessarily that the whole Islamic world will just hold hands with Iran and fight Israel…If America attacks Iran, there will be no doubt that this might happen but the Islamic world wont just attack Israel, but Iran might</p>
<p>The UN won’t do anything. The US should allow Israel to attack Iran first, but should still support Israel with money, weapons, and troops. Israel would not be alone in fighting Iran. The only benefit of having Israel attack first is that is would save what little reputation the US has in the world. It would be different from Iraq because Israel actually has a reason to attack Iran, where as we really do not. </p>
<p>And yes, there probably will be another draft. Serving your country should not be a chore. It should be something in which citizens are eager to help protect their country from enemies.</p>

<p>^^^ about that, i actually DID believe it. The recent talk about israel facing soon annihilation has changed my opinion. I always considered Iran hostile but now, with uranium enrichment, the threats, and those recent weapons tests the picture is getting more clear that theyre up to something big.</p>

<p>Mini is quite right. If you think about it logically…from Iran’s perspective, they are surrounded on two sides by US military occupations. The Bush administration has to be viewed (again from Iran’s perspective) as having a hair-trigger. I can certainly understand their posturing.</p>
<p>It actually would be a smart move to ratchet down our own rhetoric and open up some diplomatic channels with Iran. If we can do business with a Shia theocracy in Iraq, then why not with the next-door neighbors?</p>
<p>Of course, that kind of Kissingeresque realpolitik is out-of-fashion inside the beltway these days.</p>
<p>I think that sooner or later some muslim (terrorist) country will start world war III with its nuclear weapons. Here is a possible scenerio: One country sees nukes hit its ally. The ally of attacked country will attack the ally’s enemies. The enemies will attack with nukes as well. This will lead to a chain reaction of nuclear attacks. Even if Iran is kept from developing these weapons some other country will and it is inevitable for a nuclear war to start some time in the future.</p>

<p>Another bombing today in Israel at a falafel stand near Tel Aviv. I think the Fatah party has claimed responsibility but Hamas is supporting them for the attack. Israel is promising to respond and I think this very well could be the spark that ignites the fight. If Israel responds in Palestine, Iran could very well become an ally of Palestine with the world becoming divided over the middle east.</p>
