Actually Miami says 1100 sat score. I’m sure there are plenty of kids who can get into UF and Miami who also applied to Tampa. The school is very popular due in part to its campus and location.

My son was just admitted as well. I have to admit that I’m pretty worried about UTampa’s student housing situation after reading how so many incoming freshmen were left high and dry without a dorm room. Does anybody have any insight into whether or not the school has fixed this issue?

S24 also admitted today! That was a very long EA cycle as his other 6 EA schools responded way before the end of 2023. We will look at the Fin Aid once it comes out in the next 24 hours. No idea about the housing situation for freshmen. I also read about the dorm shortages last year.

New York here, got the acceptance early this afternoon.

They might have pulled a Virginia Tech and released what they had ready today and will save the rest for the end of next month. They recently updated the website to say EA was by the end of Feb, not the beginning like it said before.
OOS here and got in yesterday. Was not expecting to hear so it was a nice surprise. With the low acceptance rate we were not expecting a “yes” so it was exciting. Today we got an email for financial aid password reset but when we went into the financial aid section it doesn’t say anything except “My financial Aid Requirements-0 to do”. Does anyone who got admitted have a “view my financial aid packages” link yet? Also still no official letter of acceptance anywhere.
D24 was accepted yesterday. No acceptance letter for her either. She got an email yesterday telling that her “financial aid portal” will be available in 72 hours. She’s happy for the acceptance, but can’t even think about going until we see merit.
I get the same information when I did the password reset. I’m hoping something gets uploaded this week!

Ok glad it’s not just us! I was wondering if no merit was offered we just would not have that link. Hoping we hear about that soon as it’s a deciding factor for sure. We are down to our top 3 so merit will be the deciding factor for us, especially since we are OOS and will involve flights/hotels!

Same for me…OOS and merit is a big deciding factor I have narrowed my list down to 5 that are all coming in around the same cost; now I’m just looking at how my dual enrollment and AP classes will be transferred.
