Yeah, I saw that posting on “X.” He did a survey of users, and got an 80% “yes” that he should move HQ over to Texas. He sounded committed.
I think you missed “like he should be” in the middle of that sentence ![]()
I love those polls he does on X. It’s like a priest taking a poll during church - “Who thinks God is great? OMG 100% of people think God is great!”
You’d think Musk would be beyond needing self-affirmation at this point but I guess he really does. OMG maybe that’s why he bought Twitter? So he can always get overwhelming support for his position on any issue in a poll? That’s better than therapy!
He definitely bought the church and the choir! ![]()
Wonder how many of those Musk minions are actual Tesla shareholders! ![]()
A good summary of why Musk might not get what he wants even if the move is approved by the shareholders and the board:
$44B is a lot to spend on therapy!
Is Taylor Swift also having a meltdown, having threatened the ElonJet kid through her lawyers?
“Sweeney’s accounts had caused Swift and her family “direct and irreparable harm, as well as emotional and physical distress,” and had heightened her “constant state of fear for her personal safety,” the lawyer, Katie Wright Morrone, wrote, according to a copy of the letter sent to the home of Sweeney’s parents. Sweeney shared the letter with The Washington Post.
“While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client,” Morrone wrote. She added that there is “no legitimate interest in or public need for this information, other than to stalk, harass, and exert dominion and control.” “
Not sure if this is the right place for this article, but his activities on TwitterX seem to be hurting:
That’s why I bought a Ford Escape.
Every time I see a Cybertruck around town, I have to laugh and think to myself “there’s go someone with more money than brains.” ![]()
I’m on a spring break tour on the east coast (coming from the Bay Area) and one of the highlights for me has been the fact that I’ve seen absolutely zero cybertrucks.
I assume Cybertrucks have a “taillight warranty,” as we used to say. The dealer would say, as the buyer was leaving the dealer’s lot, “as soon as we see your tailights, the warranty is up.” ![]()

Can’t wait to hear the defense from the Musk apologists on this one.

It’s just the gas pedal. It’s not like it’s something important. ![]()

The company slashed prices significantly over the course of 2023 to increase demand, which has reduced the profit Tesla makes on each car. But that strategy appears to be losing its effectiveness.
Rivals like BYD of China, BMW of Germany, and Kia and Hyundai of South Korea reported increases in electric vehicle sales for the same period, suggesting that slower overall demand for battery-powered models was not the only explanation for Tesla’s problems.
It’s just so sad what happened to Twitter/X. It used to be when something happened in the world, you could go to Twitter and easily see what experts had to say and you knew they were experts because they had a verified checkmark that meant they were who they said they were. Now that doesn’t exist and there’s no way to tell who is speaking from expertise and who is sowing misinformation. It’s very sad, particularly at times of natural disasters, war, and political unrest. Plus there is just so much spam/ads/bots that it’s useless to scroll through a thread. I hate what Elon has done.
“Failure to put Cybertruck in Car Wash Mode may result in damage,” the company’s manual reads. “Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty.”
Car wash mode. lol!
