Tiger Woods

If TMZ can be believed, the Florida State Troopers have closed their investigation. They are fining him $164 for reckless driving. Period. As no claims have been made by either party regarding domestic violence, they have declined to supoena his medical records.

It appears that Tiger’s troubles aren’t over, however. A new “other woman” has now surfaced, claiming to have had an affair with him. She also claims she has voicemail and 300 text messages to prove it.

The plot sickens…

IF this woman is being truthful, (and that’s a big IF, of course), it makes you wonder how someone so intelligent could behave so foolishly. Not only to stray, but to leave a cyber trail of evidence. Could be a really bumpy ride for Tiger and his family. Hopefully they can weather this and learn from it.

164 bucks? Reckless driving? It looks like the cops are just annoyed and because they couldn’t do anything else, they dinged him with a ticket, which if he really wanted to he could fight in court (automobile malfunction?). But a billionaire doesn’t fight traffic tickets, does he?

TMZ has a link to a Chinese video with an animated version of the events that evening (two scenarios). Very interesting…
I’m glad this seems to be fading away actually.
And NRD, if he really is dallying around, I wouldn’t be that surprised. Yes, he seems smart, but so did Kennedy and Edwards, and Spitzer…I could go on. Doesn’t have much to do with brains (Sptizer left plenty of damning evidence too). These guys think they’re something special…

“TMZ has a link to a Chinese video with an animated version of the events that evening (two scenarios).”

Does one of the scenarios involve a second blond woman with a nine iron behind the grassy knoll?

no grassy knoll, no second blond…but that sounds like a good add in.
Boy, it would feel pretty bad to see this stuff if you were Tiger or his wife. The price of being a rich celebrity…

I haven’t watched Jay Leno since he pulled a Brett Favre, but I tuned in last night to see the monologue and he had lots of Tiger jokes.

I don’t know whether it is better to be poor and go through something like this in private or rich and go through it in public. Except for the kids having to go though it too, I think I’ll go with the green poultice.

“IF this woman is being truthful, (and that’s a big IF, of course), it makes you wonder how someone so intelligent could behave so foolishly. Not only to stray, but to leave a cyber trail of evidence.”

There appear to be lots of intelligent men who, when it comes to romance, think with their little brain. Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick as well as South Carolina Gov. Sanford are among those whose names quickly come to mind…

Rick Reilly, a top sports writer, and avid golfer:

"Tiger Woods said in his statement Sunday, “I’m human and I’m not perfect.” The tornado of 24/7 media, accusation, unsourced rumors and flat-out lies he’s inside now all started with a very human imperfection – he ran his car into a fire hydrant and a tree.

And now he won’t talk about it. Which is his prerogative. But it’s a mistake, for one reason. It’s not that he owes the truth to all the corporations that make him the richest athlete in the world. And it’s not that he owes the truth to his fans. He gives them the greatest golf game in history.

It’s this: He’s an educator. He started and runs the Tiger Woods Learning Center in Orange County, Calif., a place where kids go to learn about golf, the world, and personal responsibility, like how to be honest.

Until Woods answers some questions, he is only teaching his students that the best thing to do in a crisis is to run and hide.

These are those questions:

1) What made him lose control of his car?
2) Why did it happen at 2:25 a.m.?
3) If his wife, Elin, was indeed coming to his aid as he lay unconscious in the front seat of his Cadillac Escalade, why did she smash out the rear windows?
4) Why won’t he speak to the Florida Highway Patrol about the accident?
5) Did the report from the National Enquirer just days before that he was seeing another woman play a role in the early-morning wreck?

Starting Monday morning, volunteers will begin working on the Chevron World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The tournament raises money for the Tiger Woods Foundation, including the learning center, which also teaches kids golf. One of the best things that golf teaches you?

We call penalties on ourselves, even the ones no one sees."

The last line is a comment on one of the fundamentals of golf, a “gentleman’s” game.

Tiger did not seem the cheating type.

People have to understand that these athletes and celebrities are under great pressure from all sorts of women (I am not excusing what Tiger did (if he did it), but there are women willing to sleep with these men). I believe Oprah did a show on it a couple of months ago, and you wont believe the measures that these women go through to sleep with these people.

OK so ET tonight has another women who outlines with dates and times the numerous liaisons she had with Tiger since 2007. She even discussed her affair with her mom. US magazine will have the entire story out this week. THIS LOOKS BAD. She knows lots of details about his marriage. There are emails. And she showed US magazine her iphone with over 300 texts they exchanged. This story is not going away. It is getting worse.

He is being charged with reckless driving for the accident and there will be no further investigation. That case is closed. This new woman and her story, YIKES.

Get a consult with Kobe, fast.

Today I was on the treadmill and then the recumbent bike for about an hour. I watched a special on rock stars and their wives. Of course, lots of talk about sex, drugs, temptation. They interviewed Alice Cooper, who stated that in over 30 years of marriage, he “has NEVER cheated on his wife.” He said, “why would I hurt the woman I love, jeaopardize a marriage I have spent 3 decades building, for what? 5 minutes of orgasms from some bimbo? Gimme a break.”

Now, I don’t know if he’s being truthful, but he seemed sincere, and his wife is incredibly beautiful, intelligent, and articulate. It surprised me, but was a very refreshing viewpoint. He is the last person I would have expected to express those sentiments, and he didn’t try to appear perfect as he has admitted to having had substance abuse problems, but it gave me renewed hope in the character of the american male celebrity.

If she is telling the truth, why is this other other woman coming out now? Is she angry because she thought she was the only other other woman? The next thing you know we’ll see Tiger with Dr. Drew on Sex Rehab.

There’s supposedly electronic evidence and it is supposedly posted on the net (no I didn’t go looking for it).

"Don’t write anything you can phone. Don’t phone anything you can talk. Don’t talk anything you can whisper. Don’t whisper anything you can smile. Don’t smile anything you can nod. Don’t nod anything you can wink. "

Don’t text or email either.

I refuse to believe he was that stupid. (again- I’m usually wrong about all this stuff…)

If he had nothing to hide, why wouldn’t he just talk to the media and get it over with it?..“I was in need of some Ben N Jerry’s…” So, of course “we” all have to make something up. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I suppose he was already doing something with his lover and now, because he upset his golf-yielding wife, he doesn’t want her to get in more trouble. Or did someone already say that?

I don’t know what he did or didn’t do: probably more than he would like to admit and less than many suspect.

In any event, he is better off keeping his mouth shut. Some of us might wish to know more, but if he has transgressed he is better keeping everything under wraps.

I meant to text message- stupid…
