I have never met Tiger Woods, so I know nothing of him personally (just what I read written about him in the media). The stories in the media written over the past few weeks describe behavior which could also be found in someone suffering from the disease of addiction. I know no one really wants to give him an excuse - I get that. Really, though, it is simply not natural for a healthy person to knowingly and repeatedly cause harm to their children, parent, friends, business associates, career, and health (i.e. the condom thing).

Addiction could very well be an issue when an individual is continuing certain behaviors despite negative consequences. The latter part of that sentence is really the big issue here. Was he able to largely avoid negative consequences? I doubt it. Just the lifestyle - the lying - had to take its toll. There had to be smaller consequences, before everything blew up in his face.

spidey, we’ve already covered the addiction issue. I believe he’s an addict. Most here don’t believe in sex addiction so we’ve moved on to more enlightening subjects, ie…the fact that we are all getting a little concerned about Schmaltz and hope he can meet a woman who finds him attractive SOON! :)

You have to check out Billy Dee Williams’ Commemorative Plate Collection (google Jimmy Kimmel Live Commemorative Plate Collection - video is on Hulu).

You know you want those plates. Only $17.99!!!

I just finished watching a spot on the news about the sponsors-- the PR folks at Accenture and Gillette must have selected each word verycarefully. I’ll bet that his remaining sponsors are carefully reviewing their contracts.

She’s been in the gutter connecting the dots. “Blow up in his face”?? Have a little class, and leave something to the imagination, will ya spidey? Sheesh.

" Gillette issued a statement saying: in the midst of a difficult and unfortunate situation we will support Tiger’s desire for privacy by limiting his role in our marketing programs"

Ooh-- that sounds pretty “in your face” and “hands off” to me…
