Sportsman of the DECADE? OMG, I thought it was a joke!! He is certainly deserving of the honor… just seems like bad timing, I mean “Sportsman” implies sportsmanship which connotes a modicum of, you know, fair play, not fair playing around.

^^The award is for Athlete of the Decade.

He got it over Lance Armstrong because Tiger won the “Tour de Pants”!

^^^Now THAT’s funny!

That said, Tiger is certainly an athlete who excels at his sport (I mean this seriously…and not the jokes of what sport, ha ha).

MoWC - I really needed a good laugh right now!!! Perfect timing!

"If I had to pick some people to acquire sexual addiction in exchange for saving the world (say, from a meteor or plague or something), and if that disease would manifest itself as including middle-aged women to the exclusion of everyone else, these are the poor folks I would have on my list that I would choose to suffer:

Liam Neeson
Denzel Washington
Gerard Butler
The Rock
and
Harry Connick Jr.

I would NEVER have chosen Tiger Woods. "

Spidyegirl, before you post your full list, give me a little head’s up, ok? I’ll need some time to install more memory so my computer can handle it.

“tour de pants?!” … had to clean up my keyboard from a mouthful of morning tea.

Of course my high school D came home from indoor training last night with the latest tiger joke: “How did Tiger win Athlete of the Year?” drum roll…“He cheated.”

Groan. :)

I think this sportswriter raises some valid issues…

[The Tiger Woods story grows bigger, and juicier – latimes.com](http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-plaschke16-2009dec16,0,2923714.column)

If he was using HGH (and maybe other hormones) might it have increased his sex drive beyond normal?

^^If so, he could really have an effective ad campaign for that hormone…sorta like the Bob Dole ads.

“If he was using HGH (and maybe other hormones) might it have increased his sex drive beyond normal?”

I’ve read that HGH is used by some to increase their sex drive. If one already has a high sex drive…

^All CC women who are 40 or older are busy googling HGH at this moment…

spidey…at first I thought your post was very funny! But come to think about it, why are you thinking just WOMEN would want a drug to enhance sex drive? That seems kinda sexist. Many women have plenty of sex drive. In fact, some men would really want such an enhancer!

Maybe spidey was suggesting that we’d like our partners get some help. She didn’t say which gender was meant to take the stuff!

zoosermom…very true…could look at that and interpret it either way.

I generally have been avoiding all the Tiger stories but it hit me this morning that the phrase, “Go get 'em, Tiger” just won’t have the same currency for quite a while, if ever again.

Let’s not forget the old Exxon slogan, “Put a Tiger in your Tank!”

Sheesh, all these dumb blondes taking slogans too literally.

“All CC women who are 40 or older are busy googling HGH at this moment…”

I assumed they were trying to get it for their husbands…
