<p>Animal experiments, analysis of growth hormone (GH) secretion in the human, studies on the synergistic metabolic effects between GH and sex hormones using the stable isotope 15N, and long-term growth evaluation of patients with GH and gonadotrophin deficiency treated with testosterone and hGH show that biologically important interrelations exist between GH and sex hormones. They are operative not only at the pituitary and gonadal levels but also in peripheral tissues, where sex hormones modify the metabolic and growth-promoting effects of GH. GH is also important for an optimal androgenic effect of testosterone in development of secondary sexual characteristics. Knowledge of these interrelations is not only of physiological interest, but also of practical clinical value.</p>

<p>And I’ll add Energizer “Cub” (the staying power stories might be related to the HGH)- wow that might be a good commercial endorsement…getting tired of that bunny with sunglasses.</p>
<p>I doubt that TW is being framed. Weird, 35 years in prison for something you didn’t do, and others get National Enquirer bucks and 15 minutes of “fame” for doing a married man.</p>
<p>I have to admit being shocked at how so many women are proud of bedding a married man with (in some cases) a pregnant wife! Some people really want their 15 mins. of fame no matter how they get it.</p>
<p>What I don’t get is this payout to Rachel…last night on HLN they were saying 5MM over a five year period? What for? Hush money? Hushing what? She’s all over the news?</p>
<p>She’s 'different." She’s the reason he got caught, for one thing, and her 411 came out first and she hired Gloria Allred and they’d probably done the deal before a lot of the other information came out at all.</p>
<p>But, my gut feeling is that the REASON he finally got caught, anyway, is because he actually has ‘feelings’ for this one (bound to happen eventually and all that), and he TOLD her way more than everyone else. She may have TMI, not that we don’t already have TMI from TMZ. ;)</p>
<p>I thought he paid Rachel off to not kiss and tell (the original tabloid story was based on friends’ accounts) and that this came about before a dozen other women sold their stories to the tabloids and so I wondered, also, the value in paying off Rachel since the damage is now done by the others anyway.</p>
<p>Well, Tiger being Tiger, probably thought everyone else would just stay quiet because he is Tiger, though SHE had been found out. But, also, I’m not sure he’s done seeing her.</p>
<p>Gives a different twist to “I’ve got a Tiger by the Tail,” or perhaps another part of his anatomy. Does anyone else see the humor that Tiger is now paying women to keep their mouths shut! I bet he wasn’t always asking them to do that.</p>
<p>This may not be a popular opinion but that’s what brings out discussion… the one you love to hate. </p>
<p>Unfortunately, Tiger has paid the ultimate price of screwing up as a celebrity… everyone gets to talk about it. Yes, he’s cheated and yes, I wouldn’t be staying in that relationship knowing that he’s just chasing tail but honestly, he pays a larger price for his sins than any of us “common folks” out here ever would. </p>
<p>Celebrities can’t go walk outside in their pajamas wrong without being scrutinized for their transgressions. In this case… adultery? Tiger has no defense and I actually feel sorry for him. Don’t get me wrong, I feel for his wife more and she is justified to leave his ass but this is really between the two of them and it’s really none of my business.</p>
<p>You’re right swfMOM, but what also propells this story is not just that Tiger is a celebrity… but that Tiger’s very lucrative image was based in part on his image as the clean-cut role model with the perfect family. He’s clearly neither as clean-cut, nor as perfect as a family man as he’s been portrayed.</p>
<p>Read that the National Enquirer got whiff of his activities a couple of years ago…but made a deal with Tiger to be on the cover of one of the magazines they own (Athlete something or other) in exchange for keeping quiet. He did and they did. </p>
<p>I also keep reading that Tiger is going to be spending the holidays with “the boys.” Yeah right…we’ll see how long that lasts. Anyway, a new crass holiday song is in order " Tiger got run over by a…(insert word…floozie? hoochie mama? viking? cougar?) Not that I would buy it…I hate that Grandma song…</p>
