Tiger Woods

Are you kidding me? NO hecklers at the Masters, trust me on that one. I am sure that’s part of the reason he will re-debut there. And I will be standing right there, watching him. I don’t care about his personal life … I admire his golf game.

I imagine that Tiger has already taken a lot of heat from all around. Since I think “golf” as a money making industry for those other than just the players “need” Tiger back, I anticipate tight crowd control on this. I don’t recall a lot of LA Lakers game having fan outbursts against Kobe.

I think there are lots and lots of people who will act just like kelsmom.

^^^I have indeed heard that most people associated with the game of golf agree that they “need” Tiger back in the game. It’s amazing that one individual can be so influential in the sport.

I’m reading tabloids and eating bonbons while my laundry is in desperate need of folding…

[Elin Nordegren is pregnant? The plot thickens … - Out of Bounds - NBC Sports](http://outofbounds.nbcsports.com/2010/03/elin-nordegren-is-pregnant-the-plot-thickens.html.php)

Thickens indeed! Isn’t it April 1st somewhere? ;)

some pretty funny comments on that link. Makes me really appreciate cc having separate forums

I saw that it is was MJ and Charles Barkley who led Tiger to stray. Oh yeah, right! Forced him to fornicate, repeatedly.

What led all 14+ women to stray? Seems Tiger is cheap (“thank you” and a sandwich at Subway) and it now comes out that he told some of these “ladies” that his marriage was “fine” and apparantly that was OK with these “ladies.”

^ Who doesn’t love a $5 Footlong?

As for Elin being pregnant, it seems to explain her willingness to stay in the marriage.

I thought April Fools, but apparently the info was released yesterday and carries the date of 3/31, so maybe not. WHAT A MESS.

Supposedly one woman did get a $10 million “footlong” for----- keeping her mouth SHUT. Betcha Tiger didn’t ever think he’d want that enough to pay the big bucks.

The mind boogles at what this must be like for Elin especially if she is pregnant with another Tiger cub.

Well, I wonder if it is another Tiger cub. You know the old Blue’s Brother’s cover, “Who’s making love …while you were out making love?” It’s not like Elin would have trouble finding a date while her husband was in rehab.

OH yeaHHHHH-- Johnnie Taylor!

While in rehab??? Isn’t the report that Elin is 4 months pregnant? The Escalade “event” (The Elin Open) was November 27------Dec, Jan, Feb, March??? Maybe it was “payback?”

Nike uses Tiger’s deceased father in ad.

I find this ad creepy. I don’t feel Tiger owes me any explanation for his actions, but if he does feel that he owes something to the general public, I think Tiger should be speaking up, not pimping his late father (whom I have heard also was a serial cheater).

[Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com](<a href=“Video News - CNN”>Video News - CNN)

This was on the morning news, NSM. Their take–creepy or poignant- its attracts attention, and thats what ads are for. Can’t blame Nike for trying to get some value out of their investment, even if it is in a bizarroland kinda way.

NSM - I agree. I have been one who has said all along that he doesn’t owe ME an apology and for the most part have just been saddened by someone who had gotten so far off track - but the ad IS creepy, manipulative, exploitive…

For whatever reason, the ad made me angry. I don’t know why, but I was so turned off and I thought, I guess he is a real jerk.

Tiger shot a 68 today in the first round of the Masters. Stunning. His best first round ever. So much for time off and distractions.

Yeah, Elin and those kids sure can be a distraction.

I wonder how that commercial will go over. It feels manipulative and makes me feel more negative towards Tiger.

As far as his golfing today, good for him I guess, but for him to be distracted by his problems at home, I think he would actually have to feel guilty about it first.

Here-- you can vote in CBS’s “love it or hate it” poll [url=<a href="http://www.theinsider.com/polls/3270135_Tiger_s_New_Nike_Ad_Do_You_Love_It_or_Hate_It]Tiger’s">http://www.theinsider.com/polls/3270135_Tiger_s_New_Nike_Ad_Do_You_Love_It_or_Hate_It]Tiger’s</a> New Nike Ad: Do You Love It or Hate It? at The Insider/url

Why are the only options “Love it” or “Hate it”? I don’t love it or hate it. But, I do think it’s—as Jym says, “bizarroland”. I heard that Nike may have wanted to release an ad which shows that they aren’t turning a blind eye to the moral implications of the scandal. This way, they could later run “regular Tiger ads” with less push back. Who knows…

Tiger shot a 68 today in the first round of the Masters. Stunning. His best first round ever. So much for time off and distractions.

Yeah, but Fred Couples shot a 66 and TOM WATSON shot a 67. Wonder what their distractions were.
