For very fine hair, I would not suggest a gel. A very SMALL amount of hair oil like Skinny Girl would work.
I’ve used the product Deb posted but I have very thick curly hair. It kept my hair very smooth on a humid day and did not feel weighed down like some smoothing products ( especially gel based) feel.
I think for fine hair I would used a very light oil like Moroccan Oil- use a very small amount rubbed Into hands and just pat on the area that is sticking up.
Does anyone use Strivecten eye cream. Costco has what appears to be a pretty good sale on it.
I was debating trying the Caudalie product someone recommended (I used the brand years ago), but I’m tempted to try Strivencten since it’s significantly cheaper.
Sunday Riley Good Genes is on sale (it says today only) at Sephora/kohls. I decided to try it out so ordered the smallest size.
I like it a lot. I use it every day.
Are you the poster who recommended it upthread? What do you feel its best for? Hope to get rid of some pigmentation changes.
Do you mean dark aka age spots? I highly recommend the IPL procedure. Not cheap. I had it to get rid of a burst blood vessel on my face. The doc suggested having a couple of additional treatments to handle the spots as well. I was skeptical that it would do anything about those pesky spots, but I was glad I did.
I’ve considered laser (on my hands, nowhere else) but I am not ready to do that yet
It is not a laser. It works very well on the face and there is no downtime! I highly recommend.
I am saying I only looked at (considered) a laser treatment and was not ready to do it
Maybe it wasnt a laser I considered?? They said it feels like rubber bands snapping. Is that what you had?
That’s the IPL! It was not as bad as they described.
Thanks. How long does it last? And how many treatments are needed? (Not doing face at this point).
Sent you a PM!
Does not fade dark spots.
Lots of products make that claim, none that I’ve tried have delivered. Will probably do IPL at some point.
I may look further into IPL later in the year. But i tend to scar so would try on my hands first. I used to have some cream (palmers?) that I don’t think they make anymore (or at least not with the same ingredients).
Any recommendation for an inexpensive eye cream? I decided to go back to Caudalie brand and got the eye cream @oldfort recently recommended. However, I don’t want to use it when I wash my face in the morning, play pickleball for 2 hours, and come back and wash my face again. So I just want something less expensive for during times like that.
I may get more Kiehl’s avocado eye cream, because I think it’s part of the Nordstrom sale, but if someone has cheaper recommendations I will consider.
Thanks in advance
