<p>I actually broke down a couple of nights ago and ordered my first Tieks… in black to wear with my leggings. Hoping they’re as comfortable as MOWC says.</p>

<p>I think it is cute. Hope I’ll feel comfortable in leggings. Now to figure out what shoes to wear when it’s too cold to wear my ballet flats.</p>

<p>It is one of D2’s favorite stores, and has been since high school days, although she has never bought any pants from them. Has almost always found tops and/or dresses that she loves there. I seem to find something there almost every Christmas for her.</p>

<p>Ugh… they came today and are a size too small. The website says to order down if you’re a half size, so I did, but it appears I will need a 10 and not a 9. You could actually see my big toe nail sticking through the end of the shoe :(</p>
<p>They smelled so good, though, like really nice leather!</p>
<p>My Gap leggings arrived and I like them. They are petite and so the length is perfect. A tiny bit thinner than I had hoped but they are fine under a dress. I wore them yesterday to work with my new Athleta dress. Nobody pointed at me and laughed and I even got a few compliments! Lol.</p>
<p>I wore flat sandals as it was a fairly warm day but will switch to boots when it turns colder. Oh, and by the way, I was sooooo comfortable. Felt like I was in my pajamas all day but a lot cuter.</p>
<p>I just returned from boot shopping. I have tall boots, but wanted a shorter boot to wear with my leggings/skinny jeans. Apparently studs and the “moto” look are very popular now. I ended up with a pretty tame (and inexpensive) pair. The fact that they flared at the top was appealing to me.</p>

They were more than I planned to spend, but REI is offering 20% off in their Columbus Day sale, the leather is nice, and the sole will be good for lots of walking in Italy (both country & city). And they look good with leggings.</p>

<p>CF, I like your choices. I am eagerly awaiting your reviews of the Emmett dress (I want to get that one :)) and the boots! I have never heard of Cobb Hill shoes, so I looked the brand up and found a pair of oxfords almost like the ones I had in college. A Zappos box will soon magically sprout behind the planter on my porch! ;)</p>
<p>I got the Emmett Dress today. I like the color, which is darker than pictured, a hot pink horizontal pinstripe on purple. I ordered my usual size, but it will be going back, as the dress is too large. I wanted the dress to fit closely, and it hangs on me. It’s possible I may need to go down two sizes. I think I’ll give them a call on Monday.</p>
<p>The leggings are also darker than pictured, a kind of heathery black/gray. They work well with the Hideout dress. I’m wearing them right now.</p>

<p>I LOVE them and was looking for them in brown but can only find my size at full price. I think the black ones will work well with leggings. They are so comfortable.</p>
