<p>Speaking of Uggs, I just read an article about Pam Anderson being horrified when she realized that her sheepskin boots weren’t made of sheared wool glued onto backing.
But I cant believe anyone could actually be that clueless & still walk upright.
I admit, when I received a lambskin for my preemie to lay on, I had a little eww face, ( in my head), but it was the best thing!</p>
<p>Speaking of Uggs, I do wear my tall black Uggs with black leggings and a mid-thigh length coat to run errands when it’s very cold out. Is that a fashion “don’t”?</p>
<p>EDIT-- After I wrote that I wondered if the Glamour magazine column “Fashion Does and Don’ts” still exists. I googled and the first Don’t I came across was–* Style DON’T: Tights as Pants Think of tights as an accessory. Would you ever wear a purse as a dress? Yeah, that’s what we thought.*

<p>I would wear tall Uggs with leggings. My Uggs are short- but I would still wear them as very casual wear with leggings.</p>
<p>I follow a blog called lola androgynous. She’s a woman of a certain age, still dressing very stylishly imo. In the most recent post, she wears leggings. Also back on 10/30. I like her look.</p>

<p>I have high black boots. I like the boots with it, but not the black leggings. What color tights/leggings would you wear with that color?</p>
<p>I would try either grey or charcoal. Nothing light colored.</p>
<p>Why didn’t I think of grey? I’m wearing gray dress pants today with a blue top - lol </p>
<p>And for sure I won’t do light colored - to me that’s for the under 5 crowd.</p>

I love the leather of the Frye boot. I hate the price. Also what color top would I wear with brown boots with black leggings?
Of the Steve Madden I ordered the suede boot on a whim due to the price. It is surprisingly comfortable and my fashion maven friend loved them on me. I think the zipper looks a bit cheap but for the price I think I will keep them.
The Steve Madden black leather boot fits my desire for a black lace up boot. I think I will send them back though since I am not 100% sold on them.
My fashion maven friend liked all three boots.

<p>I saw that uniqlo just has a 30 day return policy, so I had H try on the 4-way jacket I got him for Xmas.
( it’s a light coat with a zip in down jacket)
He only has work coats & ski jackets for winter & this will look a lot nicer than wearing his ski jacket when it is cold.
I’m thinking about getting a long down coat for myself.

<p>FINALLY found a pair of low boots to wear with my leggings! Had been looking for a simple, age-appropriate black boot with low heel and not too much embellishment. Found these this weekend at DSW - good price became a GREAT price because I also had a $20 off of a $49 purchase + my daughter had a $5 coupon that was expiring - wearing them today with leggings and a shortish grey sweater dress with a bright pink light cardigan - FULLY comfortable and kinda cute if I do say so myself!</p>
