How are my leggings buddies doing??? Wore mine twice this week to work and had to stop myself from wearing them again today - just have grown to love them with shorter (but appropriate) dresses and low boots!

I received an Athleta catalog this week and noticed a nice sale section in the middle of the catalog. Thinking of driving and visiting an actual store this weekend to see what’s marked down - has anyone been in one recently to know if they are starting to clear out some winter merchandise???

They have probably been clearing out stuff for a while.
In October, they had down jackets on sale, but I ended up buying from Uniqlo instead.
The stores mark down things sooner than the catalog.

I’m wearing mine today. (I only own one pair.)

After reading this thread, I spotted an Athleta store while visiting another city. I thought the clothing was a little too…athletic. It just didn’t appeal to me. Am I the only one who feels that way? I could see it at the gym, but that’s about it.

Some of it is - specifically for exercising. Probably why I like it - easy to move in, casual but attractive to wear, good for work or play. I’m not a suit or blouse or trouser person. The dresses are great for business casual, everyday wear.

Oh, great to know, EK! I will have to keep an eye on the weather reports! Good thing the leggings are cropped. I can ditch the boots and wear them with flats.

& I thought * we* were having good weather!

I bought several of the crescendo skirts and the dress.

Its very cute on, & its great for travel.

Toledo- Athleta has a number of dresses that are very appropriate for work or social outings and are not particularly athletic. The ones with the hoods are too athletic, in my opinion. They also travel well. My issue is that many of the styles are not in colors that I like all that much.

abasket - I made two big orders at Athleta the first week of January. They had 20% off sale prices. After the sale many items were adjusted down in price. I picked up everything from a summer maxi dress I’d been eyeing, bathing suits, ponte knit skirts…gosh I think that’s it. I find universally online has better availability then my local store, and the prices are usually better. I can order, try on different sizes if I need to, and return ship at no cost. Athleta gets much more business from me this way then if I had to drag my rear end to the store (45min) with fewer choices, or I hesitated due to shipping fees either way.

I’m not wearing leggings today, but they’re awfully close. I love the JCrew Pixie Pant and have the navy and black. They are very thick and do not fade or pill. They are great for cooler months.

I’ve been wearing mine at least twice a week. I bought a second pair at TJMAXX before Christmas. They are fleece lined. Soooo warm.

I ordered this dress from Athleta when they had a one day dress sale. I love it! Soft and loose and comfy without looking frumpy. It looks like they only have it left in tall, though.

Athleta has 20% off sale this weekend. I think they added stock also. A top I was watching came back in my size and I ordered it.

Honestly, Athleta clothes are how I dress most of the time. I do have other types of things but that style is how I want to look.

I ordered this Athleta. And I was bad because I ordered it in 2 sizes to see which one fit better. I feel bad because I know one will go back but I really liked it and wasn’t sure of the size.

Bunsenburner- my leggings are going to be in SF this weekend as well.
I am loving my Leggings. I am now constantly looking for new tops to wear with them.
Will try to hit Athleta this weekend while I am in the city.

H gave me (with D2’s help, of course) two pair of the Athleta fleece-lined leggings for Christmas. They were much appreciated when we had our horrific cold snap.
