<p>Hi I got mine on Monday UPS and I’m in Minnesota. I received the National Award and was very surprised. When I called last week, I was told that they would be notifying both winners and non winners. Hang in there and congrates to all the winners.</p>

<p>guys, if we didnt get it monday, we didnt get it. our rejection letters will be arriving shortly. but i really dont care right now, im still psyched from the senior prank we just pulled!</p>

<p>oh many things. we post noted the locker room, and the doors, wrapped several classrooms in toilet paper, hid easter eggs around the school, moved all the furniture out into the quad…spelled out S09 in cups in the chain link fence by the gate entrance, etc…it was a night of mayhem.:):):)</p>
<p>^^^Nice! A few years back, one class spilled oil all over the high school hallways. I’m not sure what we’re doing, though, baha.</p>
<p>Today, the UPS truck did pull into my driveway and my sister came running into my room, “UPS just pulled in!”
I jumped three feet in the air grabbed a pair of shorts and ran as fast as I could to the door. My heart was pounding out of my chest. It was a package for my dad. :(</p>

My last name starts with a W… maybe thats why I’m an end of the week’er. Who knows… I would love any notification at all.</p>
<p>So, I just called and this is the info I got:</p>
<p>Winners and non-winners were sent out at the same time. ALL notifications were sent out at the same time (from A-Z).
Then she told me something I was surprised about, she said notifications would come by Postal Service… which I would imagine would mine the USPS… Is that the same thing everyone else has been told? I was under the impression it would come via UPS or FedeX.</p>
<p>well im a J, so yeah, ive given up. im really just frustrated with the disparate info we keep getting. haha Mperfectionist! we wanted to put olive oil all over the deck, but then we thought our older teachers could get hurt, so we nixed that idea.</p>
<p>Don’t give up hope Mesquite Girl. People on college confidential are usually the cream of the cream of the crop. If so few people recieved acceptances, we can be sure that more will come. Keep the faith!</p>

<p>I am also a Toyota Scholar semifinalist living in Spring, Texas and I have not heard any notification. Where does your friend live? Are they cutting the number of scholarships down from 100?</p>
<p>Hey so someone asked for winners projects and I had a couple of minutes since I have like NOTHING to do (I graduated yesterday YAY!!!) Anyway… I’m the president of Young Republicans and I set up a coin drive to raise money for protective eye wear to send to our troops. We raised like 700 dollars.<br>
I’m actually kind of shocked to be a National Winner. I think I was able to show that I am really passionate about serving other people, which was maybe part of the reason I got it, but who knows. It also might of been because I made sure to point out that I couldn’t do it without other people. I really don’t know though.<br>
I’m sure that everyone did some amazing things, so congrats on that. Hopefully that helps!! If you want to ask me anything feel free, cause I have really nothing to do!

<p>Received my rejection letter today… Bummer! Congrats to all those that received either level of the scholarship, and I would really like to know the projects of the winners!</p>
<p>Rejection letter here, too, in GA. At least Coke rewarded the volunteering well! :)</p>
