This may or may not be a dumb question–I took a college algebra class at my university that was specifically called “College Algebra” on the course syllabus/school course catalogue, math department website, etc). However, on my official transcript the course is just called “Algebra”. Isn’t there different collegiate levels of algebra, how will people know that I took “college algebra” instead of “intermediate algebra”, “algebra fundamentals” algebra 1",etc? My official college transcript just says “Algebra”. Thanks !
It lists the course number as well, correct? Like MATH 120 or something like that? Course titles are often shortened on transcripts (sometimes beyond recognition), but the course number should still be there and that’s what’s used to identify the course.
@guineagirl96 yes it says MATH0041 Algebra
