Trash TV - The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise

It seems to me like they might have their eyes on Jeremy for the next Bachelor. Whenever they need someone to narrate or summarize what happened, they seem to turn to him.

Just watched. Sam M continues to creep me out… he think he is such a stud…to me, dud!

Sam N , wondering if he is for real. Glad that story didn’t get stretched too thin … wonder if he will make Paradise.

Devin gained some points this week - like not even the same guy they have been showing

The old bf thing is weird. Does he talk like that or is he rehearsed??!

I’m behind by an episode and I fast forwarded through the entire stripping scene and other parts of episode 3 (so I have no idea what happened with Sam N and the love declaration but I also don’t really care - which tells me it’s just not that compelling…)

But, I totally agree with @abasket - Sam M - EWWW - he seems EXACTLY like the kind of ‘bad decisions’ boy that she’s picked in the past (and may pick again??). UGH!! Don’t do it Jenn!!!

Also, Aaron?? (I skipped through/missed anything that happened between them up to his departure). Yuck. The whole Aaron/Devin feud was just painful to watch.

I’m a big Marcus fan for now, but I don’t think they will get anywhere, but I’d love to be wrong…

I’m glad the ex-boyfriend trope wasn’t dragged fully out to make him part of the show.

Spoiler: I was surprised she sent Thomas home. Maybe he wasn’t a good kisser. That’s a turn off for me too.

Was there a “good kisser” storyline with Thomas? I don’t remember that.

Seems there are lots of difficult family situations this season.

The old boyfriend thing was odd. Seems like it just took up some time and added nothing else.

What, you don’t think he was just wandering around NZ and happened upon the group?

No, not with any of them, I just speculated - or he didn’t give her the feels like she gets with a few of the others.

Do you think he just couldn’t bear the thought that his ex-girlfriend might marry someone else, so he spent $1k on a ticket, hoping that he could get on the show and win her back? This show veers from reality at times.

I’ve heard several reports that,

  1. he was already traveling for a wedding (in like south american or something?) which is why/how he had a tux with him
  2. he and the show have been ADAMANT that he came on his own dime and the show was not part of that decision.

After seeing Jenn with her show guys Matt seemed…so not her type? He seemed very quite and sort of meek - she seems to like someone more outgoing or excitable?

The spoilers I know are not final person spoilers, nor would I ever refer to or mention them here - so this comment has nothing to do with that…

But the show previews has been showing her saying to someone “I can’t let you propose to me” - does she have second thoughts later about Matt ??? Or does she realize she needs to firmly close that door before moving on???

How would the ex boyfriend know where she was if the producers didn’t tell him? ‘Somewhere’ in NZ? When, where, why? Aren’t they all on social media radio silence from weeks before the first mansion arrival?

I don’t think he just wandered up. Someone invited him (and his tux) to NZ.

Of course it was all a producer set-up. How else could this be the most exciting season ever?!?

I heard that he reached out to the show. Said he would come on his own dime for the chance to talk to her.

The producers did agree to let him do that so obviously they let him know where they were

Meet the Men Appearing on the First Season of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’!

Oh, and the lead for the next season of The Bachelor was announced last night.

Wow! Some visual catches with interesting backgrounds there! Thanks for sharing! I’m definitely watching.

Now to figure out who they named as Bachelor…(I didn’t watch last night’s show yet)

Edited: oh gosh! Don’t search for who is next Bachelor unless you are ok with being spoiled for last night’s show (I’m assuming…)

Sam last night was just awful. And yet she justkept giving him chances. I like Jen but don’t think she is ready for a committed relationship. She is still going for the bad boy type even if they have nothing in common. And she mentions her exes in almost every conversation. Seems like she has some real trauma she needs to get over. Besides Devin, I literally had no idea who she was going to pick last night. I don’t think she is going to be able to tell any of the parents she is falling in love with their son, she barely knows any of them. This season has seemed really short. Also, there is some bad press swirling around Marcus so that seems like a waste of a hometown.

Assuming correctly

I have really liked Jenn’s clothing this season.

People in Seattle seem to wear a lot of pink.

Oh, just realized that “Mark” for Golden is Kelsey’s father from Joey’s season!

I think I’ll revive the “Golden” thread???

I hate how in I am on these guys. I already have faves.

I think it’s interesting how the bios, aside from three, are coy about whether the guys are widowers or divorced. Almost all of them seem really fit!

I watched Jenn last night for only the second time and went straight to the spoilers. As I said previously, she just doesn’t hold my attention. However, as someone not following closely, I was shocked by who she chose! Now, I feel like I want to watch the remaining weeks to see what I missed.

I’m happy they announced the next Bachelor in advance so women who want to meet him have time to apply. I have a feeling some of Jenn’s guys auditioned to meet Daisy or maybe Maria.
