Trash TV - The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise

Well, one basically said as much.

Did they? I was out of town and didn’t watch this week’s episode yet.

Yeah, on the group date this week.

It’s comical to me that we are already at hometowns. I don’t even think I’ve grasped 100% everyone’s names!
To be honest, I wish we could have a do-over with Jeremy (Jerbear), Jonathan and Marcus (even though he got more air time) - they really seem like cream of the crop guys and were def overshadowed by the Sam and Devin show of this season.

BTW, Sam sure seems like an a_s!!! I know his family has been causing a lot of controversy on social media since the show has aired - I couldn’t believe he admitted that he expected to see Maria or Daisy when he got out of the limo. Something tells me he lacks too many smarts…

Congrats to the newly named Bachelor.

I’m so thankful that Sam is gone! He was really giving me the creeps since they did the building jump. His responses to the radio show were so rambling and basically incoherent I kept saying out loud ‘what?’

I was sorry to see Grant go, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy - but read this morning he’ll get his own season.

Last night we had a split Bachelorette again. First hour at 7, cut off (I swear mid-sentence) and then the convention and supposed to be back at 9 for another hour. Well, it suddenly reappeared at 10:30 with no local news on that station and no notice that that was going to happen (not even a scroll at the bottom of the page). This happened with the Rep convention too, but they did just cut away for an hour and then came back at 9 pm.

I have no idea what any of them were talking about as it was so chopped up.

In my opinion Jenn has set herself up to be jilted. She told 3 that she’s “falling for” them, and 4 told her they were. I always thought the lead wasn’t supposed to say anything like that.

I thought Devon was the best hometown. I really like him. He seems very real.

In CA, it started with the convention. I didn’t realize that it started 1.5 hrs into the recording and then spilled into the shows afterwards. I’ll have to see if I can find it streaming or online.

I watch it on Hulu usually the day after it airs.

Overall, terrible hometowns.

Devin is so immature and is in love with being in love and WINNING.

Jeremy is very cute and handsome but he and Jenn would make best buds not a romantic couple.

Jonathan is a handsome man and I think they have some chemistry but we just don’t know much about him.

Marcus is who I wish she’d eventually end up with. He so wants to surrender to her - and she to him - but I think he needs time to work through some stuff. But I feel his feelings are the most genuine for him.

I predict whatever happens at the end, it doesn’t last

No. There’s a separate thread for that

No comments on last week’s fantasy suites?

My comment will be this is a season that will be forgotten. I’m not going to call it a train wreck but WHAT?! The only one you spontaneously say “I love you” to is the one who seems very sweet but has REPEATEDLY said he is not getting there yet? And who in my opinion needs time to do a lot of work on hisself and his past before considering marriage?

You then choose to give a fake “I DO love you dork!” (Can’t remember the exact phrasing) to the one who whined his way into your room and continued to pout “woe is me” until you finally dished out the 3 words (not very genuinely) that he insisted on hearing??

And the one who seems to be the most balanced, the most easy to get along with, the least amount of baggage, the fun one….he gets sent home??

I will be shocked if whoever is standing with her at the end is still standing with her today.

The spoilers I saw at the beginning of the season DID say these two would be at the end….I don’t really know beyond that except hearsay (which I won’t post).

WASTE of a season.

Yeah, I got bored with it after a couple of episodes. Kind of glad I didn’t keep watching.

It has to have some excitement to qualify as a trainwreck. This season was a snooze fest, and I’m glad it’s almost over

I wouldn’t call it a train wreck. When I think of train wrecks, I think of leads like Clayton or Colton.

Jenn seems like a nice enough person, but she can’t carry the show like previous leads. The guys are fine, but not all that engaging. I feel for Marcus. I know the show provides counseling. I hope that he is able to work through the trauma he has experienced.

Producers could have left the comments about the guys expecting Maria or Daisy on the cutting room floor. They didn’t. I wonder if Maria will be on Paradise.

I think she is suppose to be?

I think Jenn has had the best wardrobe in a long time.

I didn’t care for a lot of the group date activities. I rarely do, but these were particularly bad and boring. I did like the date at Chilhuly Glass because I’ve been there and it is beautiful.

Absolutely!

All those dresses! She sure has looked beautiful. I wonder if she gets to keep a few!

I’m glad I tuned into the finale. It’s … something.
