Tuition Exchange for Fall 2025 (Class of 2029)

Low. There is likely an existing waitlist for TE awarded

Maybe you can ask the liaison? My daughter is WL for TE at her enrolled school and they said we would hear in early May…after they hear definitively from those who were offered it… :crossed_fingers:

True - if only she would respond to email/phone calls :-/

What schools are your students still waiting to hear back from? Seems like there are still a number of schools that have not made decisions or notified students yet.

Waiting on USC!

Very happy to report that son #2 was awarded TE at DePaul. I predict that he will go there although he wants to visit one more time. Final stats for the 17 TE apps that we did:
6 offers (have already declined 3 of them in hopes that others can receive!)
1 school he was denied admission, 1 school he is still waitlisted.
4 TE apps denied, 5 TE decisions waitlisted.

I’m sorry.

I emailed the remaining TE offers to let them know we declined today (U of Scranton, U of Indy, Mercyhurst, Elmhurst, Lindenwood, Wayne State.)

Wait for clarification your child was awarded tuition exchange at a school that he was not admitted to? That’s odd but good for him

That sucks! Sorry to hear

Son received TE at DePaul! He is VERY excited, and is 99% sure he will be committing very soon! Yay!!

No, sorry! Those were all separate. We have heard nothing about TE from the declined or the waitlisted school, which makes sense.

Son received 5/10 TE awards for the schools he applied. His offers are:

-UIndy
-Robert Morris
-Suffolk
-Xavier
-DePaul

So thankful for TE and where he received it! He got his top choice (DePaul) and will be accepting the TE by the end of the weekend! I am SO relieved that everything worked out, and I’m wishing everyone the same.

This isn’t totally TE focused, but how does my daughter withdraw her applications to the schools she isn’t attending? The programs she is admitted to at majority of the colleges are very selective. Her spot should be filled with a student on the waiting list! Also, to turn down TE awards, can we just remove it from the our TE portal or should we email too?

What you should do is email the admissions counselors at each of the schools that your child will not be attending and let them know that they will not be attending and that if they were awarded tuition exchange you will not be accepting that award. Additionally you should probably go into your admissions portal and decline the admissions offer there as well. Essentially I would contact whoever you got the tuition exchange letter from and notify them that you are withdrawing your application and that your child will not be attending.
I would not remove them from the tuition exchange website because that will probably do nothing in terms of notifying the school.

Son is committed to DePaul (received TE!!) We are emailing schools today and turning down TE offers at Xavier, Suffolk, RMU, and UIndy.
