Hi- I called the fin aid office and for ED they are looking at them first week in Dec.
@valletta can you share your S stats as my S got accepted EA without merit this early and surprised at that
Thanks!
GUESS WHAT CAME IN THE MAIL?!
My physical admission letter
.
@thefloridavegan That’s great! I hope mine is there when I get home.
I got the same email (SO HAPPY) and logged into the Gibson portal. it doesn’t say anything about merit but keeps asking for my social security number. Does anyone know if this is why I haven’t heard anything about possible merit yet? Or did I just not get any?
It seems as if many of the people who have gotten in have gotten big scholarships. Is this how it usually happens?

General Comments/Advice/Hindsight: Good luck guys! I’ll answer any questions y’all want
I know it has been established that the admissions process for Tulane is random, but does anyone have any insight into what it might mean if I have still not heard back from Tulane, even after yesterday’s many acceptances? I applied close to the deadline.
@tem339 It means they just have not gotten to your file yet. My D waited almost 6 weeks to hear her decision. There are still 3.5 more weeks to the EA/ED process. Try to be patient.
I submitted my app in Sept., but my counselor did not submit my secondary school report until 11/18. Do you think that this will knock me out of EA consideration?
Does anyone know if rejections are being sent out early? only have seen acceptances and wondering if they are waiting until 12/20 to send out rejections.
@stressedsenior99 Historically Tulane does not reject anyone at this point, they defer to the RD pool. Those notifications usually don’t start coming in until the EA (and now I suppose ED) announcement deadlines.
