No mail for us today but kind of thought that might be the case. Maybe they are just down to Portal notifications.
Son applied EA and had all documents in by Sep 16th. My guess is that he’s on the fence and that they still have not made a final decision. Thoughts?

My stats for Tulane are 1430 SAT and a 4.7 GPA and class sal. I received a 33 ACT and an updated 1470 SAT score about a month and a half later after the Tulane deadline but by the time I got my ACT and new SAT I figured it was too late to send to Tulane and so I didn’t send the new scores to them (dang it I should have…). Now I’m starting to think I’m going to get deferred because 1430 is low compared to my new. I’m preparing myself for a deferral … I submitted my app October 14 and I have heard nothing at all. Yup I’m getting deferred lol because considering the new scores I received after I submitted my application, I feel like my application was just overall weak in stats. oh well…
@chicorymom My guess is that ever since that last wave released after the Nov 15th deadline (the decisions sent out on Thanksgiving), there are so many applications and it’s the last of the EA/ED applications so they are going to look at all of the applications and compare them all before making their final decisions, because out of the ones that have been submitted, I’m sure there can only be a certain number admitted. So I’m assuming they have to look at the huge group of applicants as a whole and will probably decide for everyone that’s left around the same time. Of course, that’s just me speculating.
It will be interesting to see if they release a wave tonight…
@teenstogether123 I feel you should definitely send your updated ACT. If your in any way deferred they would get it and it would show more interest. They like to have the best stats it makes them look better as a school.
Did people chose academic teachers or elective teachers/mentors for the required rec for the DHS?

Last year this time there was a block of acceptances on the 2nd Monday (tonight) before the deadline and deferrals started aeound Wednesday with a few more acceptances on the weekend. Just sayin
No mail either but I think when it gets late in the game, letters normally follow.
