Typically Spring Scholars is only offered to ED students. It is non binding. They just released information about the program mentioning they cut their ties to Loyola and having any classes taken there and transferred to Tulane for spring semester (upon admittance) is unlikely. Seems that going abroad (which many students choose) or studying someplace else for credit are the only options. In the past it is a great option for Tulane because the SS students live in the apartments right off campus…sublet from students who are abroad (Tulane goes abroad 1st semester not 2nd because of Mardi Gras) so they are really living the Tulane life without a single hiccup. Tulane also has Greek Rush second semester. However, this recent change definitely changes the dynamic and seems much less appealing unless choosing abroad. I think Tulane had no option to make this change because they clearly had more students than anticipated accept this program. Tulane also announced an ED2 now for students to switch from EA before they hear.
