Deferred. The six other applicants from my school (all super qualified) also got deferred. Probably just trying to weed out some ED2’s.

Yikes, I wonder how many EA apps they received. Seems like a lot of deferrals again.

Official visit, but did not do interview.

Daughter deferred but not really surprised. OOS, White female, 1500 SAT, 3.9 uw/4.5 w, top 5%, all AP and Honors, NMSF, great ECs, probably great recs, but couldn’t visit yet and did not do Why Tulane Essay (I know, but extenuating medical circumstances), but did do Paul Tulane.

Accepted with $20K per year Founders Award. 33 ACT (34 Superscore), great EC’s with emphasis on service, solid GPA at rigorous private school, and visit/interview. D20 is interested in studying psychology and possibly neuroscience. Congrats to all who received acceptance letters and sending lots of good karma to all who were deferred or rejected.

Reading here, was everyone deferred, no rejected? Sounds like there will be very little chance to get in RD and I don’t like how they are pressuring the students to now go ED2
