@USUG21 I highly doubt it… At this point, I think they are still finalizing numbers and reading over the waitlist supplements. I think at earliest, admissions will start next week? Perhaps it’ll be similar to last year, in that some eng students will receive admissions first?

Did anyone who applied to CNR get waitlisted?? There’s no option for FPF or anything like that right? Those are just options or L&S applicants??
I applied to CNR and was waitlisted. @fiercehearted I think Global Edge is the only option and maybe January start?
A little late but I saw some people asking about what to write for their senior statement. I was clueless so I figured I’d try to be a little bold/memorable. Either they’ll think I’m funny or I completely wrecked my chances. So hopefully this either makes you laugh or feel better about your chances of getting in.
“When I received the notification that I had been waitlisted, I was heartbroken that I couldn’t commit right away to UC Berkeley and begin stocking up on some Cal apparel. However, I was relieved that you are still considering me for the class of 2021. Upon telling my father what I thought was good news, I was met with the sentiment- “You think I came all the way to this country for you to be waitlisted??” So if my grades, scores, extracurriculars, and essays are not enough to convince you to accept me from the waitlist, consider the fact that accepting me will prove to my dad that his immigration to the country was finally worth it. No pressure.”

I didn’t expect the current situation several months ago, and now I have learned from my adviser of the College of Creative Studies at UCSB, which I find fantastic. I will SIR to UCSB and intend to apply for the Physics major at CCS. But since I didn’t expect this, I think I have missed the priority consideration deadline, which is in February. Well then, guess I have to be waitlisted again looooool. But I am admitted to the honor program of College of letter & Sciences, so I reckon it’s not that bad…
