@Hardzworker there were literally hundreds of booths for different clubs, sports (like quidditch 
), specific opportunities like Women in Stem and Engineering, all kinds of stuff. Berkeley has a student body envolvement like I’ve never seen. Freshmen would never get bored, that’s all I can say

@woakley5 I didn’t get that message when I checked my portal this morning. I read from last year’s WL thread that students who were admitted off the WL noticed that their FAQ section got updated from WL FAQ to Fall Admission FAQ before their portal officially updated. Given that last year, some engineering students heard back end of April, do you think that the error message could be this year’s admission tell? I’m not too sure and would hate to be analyzing too deeply into Cal’s portal or creating false hope, but I just desperately want some news back from Cal 
Last year the results to be on the wait-list were released a few weeks earlier
We were notified of our waitlist status on the 30th and last year it was the 24th so there’s not that much of a difference. hopefully soon we’ll be notified!!!
@crazyisgenetic Oh, I didn’t realize that admissions decisions came out earlier last year… I guess chances are we won’t be hearing back from Cal for at least a few more days so I can stop hopelessly checking the portal everyday lol. Btw, I love your user :))

Does anyone know what the notification letter from the waitlist looks like? I am assuming it will start off with “congratulations” if it is a fall or January admit, or it will say “thank you for your interest…” If it’s a denny.
@Hardzworker I saw a pic of the acceptance letter of a person who got off the waitlist on twitter that UCB admission retweeted last year in June. You can scroll down to the tweet to check it out.

@1989swifties I think it’s still gonna be a few days! I know how you feel though, I’ve already hopelessly checked my e-mail 20 times today and Cal’s portal like 5 times
Hey i saw somebody is UCSC thread got accepted from WL.
@USUG21 its hard to compare the nation’s best public university to a school that is ranked 70th best public university. UCSC was so desperate it accepted students who did not apply to UCSC and were not offered admission to another UC school.
Lol what that’s so weird because I know a few people who actually really wanted to go there but didn’t get in because of “yield protection” and now UCSC is out here desperate for more students…interesting
