I am a transfer student getting a 302xxxxxxx ID on CAS and a “Your account hasn’t been created yet” message on the bcsweb login with MAP.
Does anyone have a working link to the Observatory server?
Does that message indicate acceptance or rejection? b/c I got the log-in successful message (with email), but got the not authorized message w/ the bcsweb method…
You want the e-mail to turn into an ID number. No one knows for sure how it works, but all the early acceptances last month had ID numbers.

I recieved a CAS ID of 304xxx…. via the Calnet when I entered it two weeks ago, but now it redirects me to a page where it says that no account has been created for me, is the UC system undergoing a database update?
I tried the UCB portal astrology. When I open the https://auth.berkeley.edu/cas/login page, I don’t see an ID. The message is
“You, {myEmailAddress}@gmail.com, have successfully logged into the Central Authentication Service. However, you are seeing this page because CAS does not know about your target destination and how to get you there. Examine the authentication request again and make sure a target service/application that is authorized and registered with CAS is specified.”
What does this mean?
will it work now do you think? the login page? wondering bc it is march 20th now ( 6 days to go)!
The PreSIR count (see reddit) has been steadily rising since earlier today, maybe this evening it will work.

PreSIR 7,731 now, increased about 1,000 from days ago. idk how accurate it is though.

It is thought to be the number of applications which have been uploaded to the system as admits and are ready to be released as such.
