@bigarmer‌ If you applied to letters and sciences, it would be safe to say you will be accepted. If you applied to engineering, especially to competitive majors like EECS and BIO-ENGINEERING, then you can’t be sure.

For the Regents and Chancellor’s scholarship, does Berkeley distribute the award among the different majors, or do they just award the scholarship to whoever they want to?

Have some hope. When I applied to UCs years ago, I was basically rejected by all of them except Davis. I thought I was going to Davis, and at the end UCB took me in. You never know. You might get the good news on March 26th.

I received an application about a leadership award from UCB via email. It was for $2,000. I filled it out. Is this a sign? Or does everyone get one of these?

Actually, @niktheslick‌ a lot of people did receive those email invites for the leadership award…the awards haven’t been granted yet but the majority of people posting on cc did get an invite for the leadership award.
