@jjjiiiaaa if Berkeley is your top school, SIR to UCLA, but go ahead and accept your spot on the waitlist. You never know!
Just got rejected to Computer Science.
International student, 1430 SAT, 95% grade (around 3.89 uw GPA?), 4APs (5,4,4,4), a few math contests, piano lvl 8, average ECs
Being an international student and having no APs taught at my school, this was as daunting path to take. still glad I took the challenge.

I was just accepted to berkeley (yay !) but UCLA was my top choice- where I was waitlisted a few days ago. If i go ahead and put the deposit down at berkeley, is it difficult to change to ucla if i potentially get off the waitlist and get accepted in may? congrats to all others accepted 
@soccerbunny423 it should not be difficult. I would double check if the housing deposit is refundable.
Hey guys is “UC Berkeley Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar” different from just Regents or it’s the same thing?
I’m trying to accept my offer but it just keeps taking me to my calnet home page. Is anyone else having this problem??? Help?! I don’t see an option to accept but accepting my offer is listed in my tasks.
Also I was accepted as undeclared in college of letters and sciences. got the email on Sunday, only had 2 addresses, and got LOR request.
@svlab112 I remember around january someone posted a link to check if you had been asked to submit LORs or not. When I logged in, it gave me a message along the lines of “You have not been selected to submit LORs” or something, but it still sent me to page with links to invite recommenders. I didnt look further into it but I was extremely curious as to what would have happened if i had invited some of my teachers. But who cares its too late for that now lol
S18 and D18 both accepted in-state. S18: 4.0UW, 1540 SAT, 10 APs, D18: 4.0UW, 35 ACT, 9 APs. Also both accepted at UCLA.
The waitlist opt-in form only has six courses for me to report my grades for and I have seven. I don’t have my transcript saved on my computer so should I just put in six classes? (Also, my transcript shows my two failed AP tests that I didn’t report.) I have six APs and one engineering class so I was just going to report my AP grades. Would that be okay?

I got in! 4.66 UC GPA 1310 SAt 30 ACT in CNR enviro sci major. So excited!!!
DD got in to UCB. Ivy day was rough with only Columbia coming through, 2 Ivies waitlisted (thanks to Columbia, she will decline the waitlist), 3 rejected outright. No $$ from UCB, makes USC Trustee scholarship a much better deal money wise.
My S was waitlisted…Berkeley is his dream school. Did two summer residential programs there, got asked for LORs (and submitted good ones) and had 2 addresses, then 4 until the last day, then 2 on decision day (for what it’s worth in the future) He did have very low stats for Berkeley standards, but a good story. I’m hoping I can update in a month or so about getting off the waitlist… but until then my S has some hard choices. Grateful for Davis which was low on his list and is quickly inching up from all the rave reviews he’s heard. Thank you all for the laughs and helpful information over recent times. Congratulations to all of you amazing applicants! You all got further then I ever did in school =D>

I honestly don’t understand what they are looking for. On a really positive note, he was accepted to Johns Hopkins, Amherst, BU, NYU, UCD, UCSB and UCSD… waitlisted at Brown.
He has a lot of great choices and he will wind up were he is supposed to be. Congratulations to all those accepted and good luck to those who were not. So many great and talented young people out there!
Hey guys, I’m an in-state student but my financial page shows me as an OOS student and my fees add up to 64k. Is anyone experiencing this issue?
@soccerbunny423 you should be careful with sir. it’s not the easiest to take back, hence the deposit and all. i know one friend who backed out of berkeley during the summer before freshman year, but she’s the only one i know of who managed to swerve the sir.
@ercollege2022 i wouldn’t worry about taking classes early in the summer, i think the best thing to do is just enjoy your summer! unless you want a double major or something then you shouldn’t have too much pressure to finish taking all your classes on time.
