@sonia1216 Thank you.
@chicalmom I got waitlisted for “Undeclared - Intending Business at the Haas School of Business” and if i remember correctly it says that if they offer me admissions, they would offer any of the pathways
What does “addresses” mean?
BerkeleyBound
@Gumbymom Great stats. Do you have any data that when they notify wait-list students?
Is there a website where we can look for roommates?
SparkysBrosDad - Art History is a real Major?
ANYONE - Please explain in DETAIL what “Addresses” mean.
Why does anyone care about 2 addresses, then 4 addresses, then back to 2 addresses? What are you talking about?
@Jagomezpr Thank you!
@NonTraditional and @Bem123, many pages ago, someone who said they were a current Berkeley student pointed out that on the day admissions decisions were released last year, the number of addresses on the portal (Mailing and Permanent) went from one of each to two of each, and the addresses themselves got more precise. Going from 2 addresses to 4 addresses around the decision release date was taken to signify acceptance. So applicants this year kept an eye on that detail and tried to see if indeed there was a correlation between the number of addresses on the portal and acceptance/rejection. This is why, along with their decisions, people on this thread are also saying how many addresses they had. From everything people have been saying so far after the results came out (the number of addresses swung wildly from two to five, hitting all numbers in between) it seems that there is NO correlation between the number of addresses on the portal and the ultimate decision.
S was waitlisted, as an Undeclared major. I’m assuming Undeclared majors don’t belong to a particular school yet, right? Does that help or detract from his chances for getting off the waitlist, please? Thank you.
