Yea. Above lkg4answers (edited) daughter became a candidate of regent with email. My son got 780 at Reading also. I am not worried for a regent. But i also am worried for admission.
Is Berkeley your son’s preference?

Please stop the panic mongering. There have been multiple responses by Forum champions based on prior experience, and the actual email language to underscore the completely irrelevant nature of these emails to the admission decision.

What time does Berkeley release decisions? Just curious since tomorrow might be the early drop day.
It was during the afternoon last year. I remember my daughter was in her last class of the day when she got the notification about a portal update.
Yeah I think last year they were released around 3:30pm PST

Does everyone get the update or only people who were selected for the early admission?
Last year after the early admits were notified, UCB sent out an email stating:
Feb Update: Applications In Review
Dear (Applicant),
We realize you’ve been anxiously awaiting your decision from UC Berkeley and want to let you know that your application is currently under review.
While you may have heard that a few applicants received notification of their decision, we are still reviewing the majority of freshman applications.

Is Early admits is for in state students only for now ? Or even OOS are considered

The portal is getting more and more unresponsive. Looks like a lot of people are eager for early admission.
