Yes, but will admitted students get another email saying the got in similar to UC davis?
Mine just headed to the beach. Cal is such a reach and after 4 UC waitlists, and a cal poly slo rejection, she is very content with UCSB and is going to wait to check Cal…hahaha. What a season! Hope everyone survived. Thankfully(yes I said that!) my last kid is not high stats so hopefully this process won’t be like this. Painful!

And this is EXACTLY why at least the most selective UC branches should reinstate the SAT/ACT requirements like many of the Ivies have. Not all 4.0 GPA’s represent the same intellectual ability and this is where being able to see whether said GPA is accompanied by a 1200 SAT or a 1400 or a 1600 is useful
