For those checking this thread next year, UC Berkeley posted the admissions decisions for the Class of 2028 at 3:30 PM Pacific on Thurs, March 28, 2024. This is exactly the same as last year, when decisions for the Class of 2027 were posted at 3:30 PM Pacific on Thurs, March 30, 2023.

What stands out to me is the honesty and humility about perseverance to correct some perceived academic shortcomings. No bragging about achievements (which I would have suggested he emphasize/add but glad he didn’t want my advice!)

What does it mean if I was chosen for honors program? Does it mean I can apply for honors classes?

Accepted to College of Letters and Science.
No mention of major. Does this mean S24 will need to declare the major once he enrolls? Also does it mean he is free to choose any major regardless of what he checked off on his application?
