Has anyone called or emailed the admissions office for updates? Historically it should be coming today or tomorrow right?

Do they start their WL review from $$$ (Intl), $$ (OOS), to $ (CA)? Hope not but that is what it seems like.
UC’s are need blind so the ability to pay is not taken into consideration for admission purposes but since they are state funded schools they know that the International and OOS students pay a premium price to attend. They also have to comply with the mandated 18% enrollment cap for International and OOS students so they will try to maximize these student types first. In-state applicants will still make up 82% or more of the enrolled students but they also have a higher yield rate than International and OOS students based on previous year’s yield rates. Priority goes to IS students but there may be less spots if the yield is high.

If the news about intl applicants getting off the WL is true then I’m guessing IS & OOS kids are gonna hear back soon, best of luck to the both of us
