I think people will hear a response next week. If you look at the trend last year, they waited until may 8th for the first wave (keep in mind last year commitment date was may 1st), and then the second wave came around 2 weeks after the first. This implies that this year we should see movement roughly 3 weeks after may 15th.

Yes, I also heard, they usually do 2nd week and 4th week of May, when SIR date was May 1.

Bro May 15 was the SIR deadline this year. So one week after May 15 was the first wave, and three weeks after May 15 supposedly should be the second wave.

My counselor called Cal admissions, and they said they might be going to the waitlist up until the end of July, so hold tight for now. At least there’s still some opening spots.

And the first wave (mostly OOS and International, a few IS) did happen on 5/22- one week after SIR(5/15). Not sure if they will follow the same cadence as previous year for the subsequent waves

I only heard of internationals getting off. Did any OOS and IS actually get in?
