Appears to just be rejections, but the bright side is that one more loose end is tied up — no more waiting on tenterhooks.
And transfer admissions rates are that much higher if worst comes to worst

Son got rejected off the waitlist. Knew it was gonna be tough for him to get in but it still stung. Now he can focus on UCSD.

I also just got rejected off the waitlist as a Bio major (I received an “update” email). I’m actually grateful this hasn’t carried on any longer. I wish you all good luck and success in your academic journeys! Keep in mind that Berkeley is certainly amazing, but so are the other campuses that we choose to thrive in.
