Right-click or double depending on your computer anywhere on the withdraw page and all the way down you should see “view page source”
it might be patched up this year. let’s not forget CMU has their decisions late because they had issues with their portal.
College confidential: Bringing the hard science rigor to portal astrology since 2024!
Did you click on the checkbox on withdraw form (of course you didn’t click on Submit) and then viewed the source code?
If this astrology worked last year, the only way you can tell is to check the box on withdraw form, (DO NOT submit the form!), view the source code after admission office updates the data. I believe the prompt would be different on UI for WL/Admitted/Rejected groups after data is updated, but before it comes out. So no source code is needed.
Does it work with computer? It doesn’t appear on ipad or phone. Thank you !!!
It depends on the browser you have on iphone, the default browser for Apple devices is Safari. Source code can be only viewed on certain browsers like Chrome, IE, Firefox. But you can download Chrome on your apple devices. You may be able to view source code on Safari broswer, never tried it. Most of developes have Chromes/IE/FF for code debugging.
The source code is not needed for astrology. For admitted students, if they try to withdraw, the prompt will be the first or the second in the lists.
what does that mean, the prompt will be first or second?
I meant the first or the second prompts.
Got it, anyone has the first or second prompt so far. Maybe they are still updating?
I think this only worked a few days before decisions were released last year
I don’t think anyone would have the first or second prompt at this time as data is not updated in the datasbase yet.
My dear nephew is class of 2028, he applied for all top 25 schools (CE) including Cal, he’s out of state, the cost at Cal for him is higher comparing to other schools. But my older son would be thrilled if he’s admitted and enrolled with Cal.
Yeah, those first two prompts are there for me. I assume for everyone else too? But is the tell in the order and amount of the true and false words underneath them?
Only these are on chrome browser. This is chrome book. I can’t use other computer because my children locked always.
What is this sceenshot for? You tried to test the astrology? The Withdraw Application option is not on the footer of page. I don’t have the portal page… other people may show you the steps to view the source code? But it’s too early to test astrology for now.
Withdraw button on right bar, under Account tools.
Ok. Thank you. I just wonder where is source code in portal.
Right click on the page, and select from the click menu.
If you can send details with screen shot to DM? Hahaha. I am really dumb. My son comes soon from school. I will ask him but he may not do.
Your son is excellent, he got in UCLA and Pomona.
Honestly, admitted at both UCLA and Cal is rare, even for top applicants.
Not sure it’s all that rare. For last year’s class, there were at least 1,914 students who were accepted to both UC Berkeley & UCLA and ended up enrolling at UCLA. On the flipside, there were 939 students who were accepted to both UC Berkeley & UCLA who ended up enrolling at Cal.
