My daughter was just accepted from the UCI waitlist this morning

Accepted! 27 ACT and only 3.4 unweighted GPA >:D<

Is waitlist being released this week? It seems people are making it off the waitlist and other schools seemed to have accepted many off the waitlist

is anyone bringing their car as a first-year?
I just got off the waitlist for Biology thank god… @swagpop637 I’m bringing my car. If you have a car to bring I recommend that you do. I don’t know anyone currently attending UCI, but I do know several other people attending schools elsewhere in socal and they say that it would be way easier if they had a car. Does anyone know how much parking permits are or anything like that?

For those of you recently accepted at uci who are going to enroll and may have previously deposited at csulb, please cancel with csulb right away, and specifically cancel with the housing department there. There are people on the waiting list for housing there - including my son. He really wants to have the dorm experience.
Aww thanks @glamma I mean, I’m going to stay at UCSD But, I still hope I get off (and trust me, I will decline it ASAP to give it to y’all if I do get off the waitlist).
@wombat11 Do you know your son’s number on the waitlist for CSULB housing? They told me that my son is #40.
They also said, “how it has worked in the past, anyone who wants a spot gets a spot”. So wish us luck
