do you think if a lot of people accept their first major spot the first wave, UCSD will move onto the second and third majors in future waves for current waitlist applicants?

you should call the AO immediately on Monday morning to see if you can get it reversed, if that is what you want to do.

I cannot predict what admitted waitlisted students will do and UCSD will try to fill the spots still available whatever majors are open.

were there any SIO major admits yesterday? i’m still on the waitlist and my alternate major is OAS.

Does anyone know of any CS waitlist admits

Did anyone hear of any in-state Marine Bio waitlist admits?

hi! i’ve looked through both college confidential and multiple subreddits, here are all the majors i’ve found acceptances from off the waitlist! i’ll try to keep editing this as i see more as well. do keep in mind this may not be all of the majors and that this isn’t looking at residency at all (in-state vs oos vs intl):

math, data science, history, ai, economics, cognitive science, business economics, anthropology, political science/international relations, theater, applied math, studio art, stats, geology, marine biology, undeclared

good luck! we got this, here’s hoping for good news and another wave : )
