No not all majors in the College of Letters and Sciences are Pre-majors only some. Pre-majors indicate high demand majors.

Just out of curiosity, L&S says they don’t review based on major. However the freshman profile breaks down the data by:

If L&S just reviews by application, how do they ensure that the class is not filled up by applicants who are all biology or Econ/ pol science majors..

Does a disappearing major correlate with acceptance??

I think at some point it did, but it doesn’t seem like it has disappeared for anyone (at least yet).

Difficult to tell from the link i posted above.
You could interpret it as missing major = acceptance, OR missing major happened before decisions were posted.
Should probably ask this on the main thread…

Will UCLA myApplication Status (Supposedly admitted students’ events page) and UCLA myApplication Status (Supposedly decision letter page) redirect to the status page on your side?
To me both of them are redirecting to the status page. If I open inspect tab I can see that the events page actually first redirects to the letter page and then to the status page.
