Yes. I don’t believe they have released anyone off of the waitlist from “The College” or the Engineering school.

Do you know which day of the week they got off? Maybe it will indicate a pattern?
They are not accepting any updates past the April 15 opt in deadline.

Yes I had a couple of state level awards given and maybe a professional certification or two? But that’s it. I also had county level awards. My whole letter was mainly focused on the awards
I have a specific question and wanted to know if you or anyone on this thread may know the answer! I come from a public school in CA. About 4 people got accepted from my school. 2 of them declined their spots, does that increase my chances at all as there is now room from my school?
I don’t think UC limits the headcount for a particular high school, maybe for region (area).

do they deny people from the waitlist straight up or do denials usually come later ln the summer
For the last several years, they have posted the denials just before closing the waitlist which was the end of July in 2023 and Middle of August in 2022.

By this, are you saying that a B+ in something like AP chem would hurt my chances? only b Senior year, and it is a current grade (which is not finalized) not a first semester grade, since they did ask for your current grades if you had them.
One B will not hurt your chance as they also look at your scores from initial UC application.
The 1st wave could be released next week.
so getting a notification the next month would mean an acceptance?
I guess if you receive email notification before June 15th, most likely acceptance.
Most likely. The notification also says something along the notes of “NOTE: A response is required by _________.” So at that point, you would know before even opening the portal.
