Who knows, it may or may not be a good indicator. Let’s see what tomorrow brings, as it’s a Saturday and the first day of June. Honestly, if there is nothing tomorrow, I seriously need to start moving on.
Anyone have info or updates on appeals? According to reddit one person got in via appeal and some have gotten rejected but I haven’t received a decision back yet!

Out of curiosity, why did they choose Berkeley over LA?
Not the person you were replying to, but similar situation with my friends too. Most who got cross admitted to both schools picked uc Berkeley. Granted, two wanted to do business and Berkeley Haas has great placements and consulting connections. couple others were engineering and like the closeness to Silicon Valley. Know someone who picked eecs over ucla cs. The people who picked ucla over berk liked L.A location more or were premed and thought they would have better experiences at l.a.

Yeah I can understand this logic, business and engineering are great at Berkeley, and LA (from what I heard) is great for health. UCLA CS is insane but Berk EECS is on another level altogether.
Yeah. Couple people at my school picked Berkeley over UCLA too. It was because they got into HAAS though, so makes sense

Very happy for them! But also kinda dissapointed, this probably means there wont be anymore big IS L&S waves, but instead small/rare trickles moving forward. Sigh
I am done with waitlist. Finally made peace 
with it. I am sure now my kid is not getting into UCLA or UCSD. Good luck to all !!
I don’t know what major you are going for, but I am in biology and have noticed that not many bio admits have occurred. Maybe a big wave will hit the pure sciences.
I’m an English major, and haven’t seen any. I wonder how many more IS L&S got off this morning…
