Has anyone undeclared L&S gotten off the waitlist
I know someone who was admitted off the waitlist as pre-poli sci, instate, this last week. Thereās hope!

I also got into UCSD, but UCLA is my number one. If I donāt get in Iāll prob go to CC and then try to transfer to LA.

Hello all!
We have a Bruin in the house!
Iām happy to share that my daughter got in this morning and received her email at around 8:30 am PST. She finished accepting the offer of admission.
Sheās in California (tax dollars at work). Iām protecting her privacy by not mentioning the school/program - she is in one of the most restrictive/lowest admission rate schools at UCLA.
Sending all of you who are still waiting big hugs. I am rooting and praying for all of you to get in.
A special shout-out to my fellow IS parents and recent high school graduates - donāt lose hope.
I thought my daughterās chances were very slim given the extremely low admission rate, but I just held on to that sliver of hope and checked her portal and email every day while never talking about UCLA with her. I wanted her to enjoy the remainder of her high school days and focus on the other UC to which she committed.
While holding on to hope, please try not to let this waiting period keep you from enjoying your summer and loving the school to which you already committed.
No matter where you go, UCLA or elsewhere, it will all work out.

Just based on what I am seeing of the admits since last week, there have not been waves by college, but just a steady trickle of individual admits across the board throughout the week and Saturday.
My guess is that will continue.

I have a random question, but what does like āD24ā or āS24ā mean? What are the D and the S referring to?
daughter/son i think. 24 = class of 24. i think its just so we can understand who these applicants are a bit more

@bigcornbread94 is right. Theyāre abbreviations by parents.
D = daughter, DD = dear daughter, 24 = class of 2024

random note, but this was something I didnāt see in the original thread. I just talked to my friend who got off the UCLA waitlist last year (but didnāt attend). according to him, he didnāt get off until July ā so we might have more opportunities left in store. best of luck to those of us still on the waitlist!

Has everyone received there appeal decisions as I am still waiting and was trying to see if others still have not received any update! Thank you!
Ughhh, why canāt they just give us a decision. I wish they would just send a notice that I am rejected instead of me having to wait in anticipation. I get that the odds are not good so Iāve moved on mentally from UCLA, but itās still like I want an official rejection letter so that I know its officially overā¦ Does anyone else feel like this?
