Lowkey bummed that there was not any movement today. If there is none tomorrow, it suggests to me that no 3rd IS wave is coming.
There comes a time when one must accept the reality, and I’m afraid that time is at hand. As an alum, I naturally hoped that my S24 could attend my alma mater (which is his first choice btw), but I know that he will have a great experience at the UC he SIR’ed to.
yup this is devastating. everyday i feel like its getting worse and worse. my current sir is a really good school but ucla was always my dream school.
im wishing the best for you. hopefully theres something tmrw! atl we can say there wasnt another wave that we missed

I know some of you are feeling down because there appears to be no waitlist movement this week that we know of. I totally understand and empathize - know that you are not alone.
I would say to you what I would say to myself if I were in your shoes: It ain’t over till it’s over. It’s only mid-June, just about a month since the SIR deadline of May 15.
Someone elsewhere suggested that because this is UCLA graduation week through Sunday things are hectic on campus and that might be impacting admissions people being on campus this week.
Having said all that, please try to enjoy your summer and focus on getting ready for the college you committed to - there’s a lot to do there.

It seems to me the odds of getting off the waitlist going forward is really low at this point. I’ve given up hope!
