I heard that the waitlist closed in late August last year. It’s awful that they make you wait that long. The UC’s really need to change this WL system! It’s mentally taxing.

The UCLA Freshman waitlist closed end of July for 2023 and middle of August for 2022.
Has anyone got off undeclared yet. Are those historically saved for the last wave of waitlist admits?
The College of Letters and Sciences does not admit by major although you can list a preferred major but you can switch majors fairly easily so in a sense all L&S majors are Undeclared and no they do not have any specific timeline during the waitlist process where they accept “Undeclared” majors.
