really? i feel like people are more down to blaze and the coke crowd is more in the club scene i think more people are down to roll at a rave but ive only been in the city for 10 months or so not enough time to asses

Ahaha, I was somewhat kidding (the idea being that scientists, engineers, and doctors would know how to grow and identify the good stuff). LOL @ “a line rather than blaze.” Clever.

haha don’t know how accurate this is but this site has a review on ucla’s drugs…

Oh, I was thinking “That is a really long profanity.”

hahaha you can find every crowd everywhere… I am sure it isn’t Humbolt but stoners are everywhere…

Just because drugs are not always out in the open at UCLA does not mean that they do not exist. Many daring potsmokers won’t hesitate to light up and smoke on any area of campus. UCLA is by no means a “druggie” school. You won’t normally see people smoking as you walk from class to class, nor will you smell the scent of marijuana, but if students want to smoke, it is there. The only day that there is noticeable drug usage on campus is on April 20 (the infamous 4/20) when hundreds of students openly light up on campus in a festive manner. Other than 4/20, though, on-campus drug usage is minimal, probably because of the large presence of the UC Police Department and student officers that peruse the campus.

Off-campus drug usage is common for students that want to explore the medium. Marijuana is the most available drug followed by ecstasy, then cocaine. Most students do not plunge further into the realm of drug usage than that, and classes require more attention than the daily use of drugs allows. Oh yeah, UCLA students tend to consume alcohol from time to time.

Hint hint

LOL I know… I’m trying to blot out the fact that I have 6 exams in the next 3 weeks. Ugh. =[

I know… that’s what I was thinking… oh, me! no way!

6 exams?!!?! 8 exams?!?! what the weird. you guys are crazy. and why is everyone having finals already? I’m not out for another 4 weeks :(

I’m guessing semester system.

I wish!! Well a couple finals are really lame… Health class… Nutrition… Anthro but Chem & Bio are the killers and tests & lab finals + lecture finals next week

yes all the community colleges are on semester system in Orange County… As far as I know.

Thank you! :)

i didn’t know some community colleges were on the quarter system… well good luck on finals guys!

wait i’m on semester system too and i finish in 4 weeks.

Oh, the Foothill-DeAnza system runs quarters. Long, terrible quarters that run 2 weeks after normal UC quarters end. Terrible, terrible.

what/where is Foothill-DeAnza? I never heard about it till i came on this site. People mentioned it at the AAP event as well.

DeAnza is in Cupertino. Foothill is in Los Altos (I think). They joined an alliance district and are sister-schools (supposedly). According to rankings that people keep quoting to me that i can never find, they’re pretty good community colleges. I remember my orientation counselor calling DeAnza the “Stanford of community colleges” this made me LOL hard and waste my pearl tea. Of course, that was BEFORE all the budget cuts hit.

ahh i see. i’ve also never heard of Cupertino. the cc i go to is supposedly in the top 10 of the nation and has one the highest transfer rates…that is also lol worthy.
